Trip Overview

The 8-day Mardi Himal Trek is one of the best short treks in Nepal, perfect for trekkers seeking a peaceful Himalayan adventure with stunning mountain views and rich biodiversity. Located in the heart of the Annapurna region, this off-the-beaten-path trek offers an immersive experience through dense rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, and traditional Gurung villages.

Starting from Kande or Dhampus, the trail ascends gradually through lush vegetation and serene landscapes, showcasing the natural beauty and diverse ecosystem of the Annapurna Conservation Area. As you climb higher, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking close-up views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.

The highlight of the trek is reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp, where the towering snow-capped peaks feel within arm's reach. Unlike the busier Annapurna Base Camp or Poon Hill treks, Mardi Himal offers a more secluded and authentic trekking experience with fewer crowds and cozy teahouses.

Ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and cultural explorers, the Mardi Himal Trek combines panoramic Himalayan views with tranquil surroundings. If you're looking for a moderate, scenic, and unforgettable trekking adventure in Nepal, the Mardi Himal Trek is a must-do.
