Annapurna Base Camp also is known as Annapurna Sanctuary trek is one of the most sought-after treks in the world and you can complete this trek in just 14 days and fell on the top of the World. This trek is suitable for people of all ages although small children will probably find it too difficult. You will drive past Pokhara to Nayapul and begin this trek. For most of the trek, you will walk alongside the raging Modi Khola (River). The thunderous gush of the water becomes musical as you trek through the Rhododendron and Oak forests and suspension bridges.

ABC trek takes you through the laidback villages of Nepal tucked up against the steep mountainsides on small terraces and inhibited by ethnic communities such as Gurungs, Magar and Thakali. During the trek, you will climb up ridges and stone steps, descend into the valleys and then climb up the next hill.

At the end of each trekking day, you will be served with piping hot traditional Nepali dish and overnight stay in teahouse Lodges.

The great part of the trek is all along the way you will be enticed with the majestic view of the mountains peaks such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalaya Anapurna South, Mount Fishtail, and Hiunchuli. When reached Annapurna Base Camp you will find yourself standing in the middle of the most magnificent mountain cirque, observing the 360-degree view of majestic mountains peaks. The awe-inspiring feeling you would develop at the moment is eternal.

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Nepal’s stunning lake city. The 6–7 hour drive along the Prithvi Highway offers breathtaking views of terraced hillsides, rushing rivers, and charming rural villages. En route, you’ll pass the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers, with glimpses of snow-capped peaks in the distance. Upon reaching Pokhara, enjoy the serene atmosphere and panoramic vistas of the Annapurna range reflected in Phewa Lake. This relaxing yet picturesque ride sets the perfect tone for your adventure ahead.

After breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, you'll drive to Nayapul, the starting point for your trek. And then you'll start your trek from Nayapul to Ulleri, of a distance is 12 kilometers. The Nayapul to Ulleri hike is a popular starting point for treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It begins in the small town of Nayapul, which can be reached by road from Pokhara. From Nayapul, the trail takes you along the Modi Khola River to the village of Birethanti, where trekkers often check in at a checkpoint. The route then leads through lush landscapes and charming villages. As you continue hiking, you’ll pass through terraced fields and small settlements, heading towards Tikhedhunga. The hike is known for its natural beauty, including a lovely waterfall near Tikhedhunga. The final stretch involves a steep climb u around 3,000 stone steps to reach Ulleri. Overnight in Ulleri.

Begin your day with a steady uphill trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani, a scenic 4-hour walk through lush rhododendron and oak forests, charming Gurung and Magar villages, and cascading mountain streams. After reaching Ghorepani and taking some rest, set out for an evening or early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m), about 1 hour each way. From the top, soak in the breathtaking 360° panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, bathed in golden light. Return to Ghorepani for a cozy overnight stay in the heart of the Himalayas. Overnight at the teahouse/lodge in Ghorepani.

After breakfast, you will walk steep downhill through dense rhododendron forests. Gradually, the forest ends and the trail opens up to beautiful terraces if fields. You keep walking uphill crossing waterfalls and suspension bridge. After a few kilometres of uphill and downhill walk you will reach Chhomrong village. Chhomrong is nestled right below the giant Annapurna massif. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Leaving Chhomrong behind you will walk through the stone steps before reaching the Chhomrong River. You will cross the suspension bridge and start to climb uphill to Sinuwa village. The trail passes through the beautiful forest to Khuldighar. You will then make an comparatively easy descent to Bambo. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Today you will walk very steeply down through a hick forest of bamboo to the bottom of the gorge. You will then walk uphill on a steep trail through the rhododendron forest until you reach Himalaya hotel. After the Himalaya hotel the view opens up and you will see the spectacular views of the glacial river below. Then you will climb steep again through a forest before reaching Hinku Cave. The trail then descends to the river and you will again ascend to Deurali. From Deurali, you could observe spectacular views of the surrounding hills including Mt Dhaulagiri. You will observe the majestic view of the valley, river and cliffs ornamented by waterfalls. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Today you will gradually climb through the valley. You will walk along the rocky and sometimes steep climb and then walk through the flat trails before ascending to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). The area is completely surrounded by the mountains and because of these reason, this area is alos know as Annapurna Sanctuary. From here, you will enjoy the majestic view of Annapurna South, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Gandharvachuli mountains. Two hours of gentle ascend from Machhapuchhre Base Camp will take you to the Annapurna Base Camp at an elevation of 4130 meters

From Annapurna Base Camp you will rapidly descend passing Machhapuchhere Base Camp, Hinku Cave, Himalaya Hotel, Dovan and finally to Bamboo which lies at the bank of Modi River at an altitude of 2310 meters. On the way back to Bamboo you will have a final chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and majestic mountains views that you have missed before. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Today you will follow the same trail until Chhomrong crossing through rhododendron and bamboo forest. From Chhomrong the trail steeply descends to Jhinu Danda hot springs, where you can bathe in natural hot springs and relax at the hotel in the evening. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Today you will leave Jhinu Danda and follow the trail at the right side of Modi River for about 5 hours until you reach Birethanti. You will descend all the way down through the stone stairs, crossing many villages and terraced farmlands and forests along the way until you reach Birethanti. Birethanti is situated on the confluence of the Modi and Bhurungdi River and is a booming village lined with rows of guesthouses. From Birethanti, a half an hour trek will take you to Nayapul. Your trek on foot ends at Nayapul. You will then drive about an hour and a half to reach Pokhara.

After the Breakfast, in the morning, you will be transferred to the coach station for your coach to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
